Sometimes there is nothing more comforting than a big bowl of pasta. @cafeathome was gracious enough to let us into her home to take a behind-the-scenes look at our Rae Dunn Pasta Story collaboration. 

Step 1: Prep + Cook

For our first ever #stayathomerecipe feature, we are cooking Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Pasta. This dish is rich in flavor, creamy, and super filling for those cold winter days.

INGREDIENTS

10 ounces pasta of your choice

1 tbsp olive oil

8 ounces boneless skinless chicken breasts

210 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced

2 cloves garlic minced

1/3 cup white wine

1 pinch of Italian seasoning

2 tsp flour

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream

Salt + pepper to taste

Fresh parsley chopped

Parmesan cheese to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Cook pasta to Al Dente according to package direction.

Step 2: Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper

Step 3: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook chicken for about 10 minutes. Transfer to cutting board and slice.

Step 4: In the same skillet cook mushrooms and garlic for 5 minutes

Step 5: Add white wine, Italian seasoning, flour, chicken broth, and slightly turn up the heat. Add heavy cream and let it simmer for a few minutes. Add sliced chicken.
